SNCFI Participates in Community Bloodletting Activity in Barangay San Vicente
Demonstrating its commitment to community service and humanitarian action, Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. (SNCFI) participated in the community bloodletting activity organized by the Barangay Local Government Unit of Barangay San Vicente on May 21, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Barangay Gymnasium.
The activity gathered volunteers from various sectors, including faculty members, staff, and students, who willingly took part in the life-saving initiative in support of individuals in need of blood assistance.
The blood donation drive served as a meaningful avenue for the SNCFI community to demonstrate compassion, solidarity, and civic responsibility. Through their participation, volunteers contributed to strengthening local healthcare support while raising awareness on the importance of blood donation in saving lives and responding to medical emergencies.
SNCFI’s involvement reflected its continuing commitment to extending service beyond the classroom and fostering a culture of volunteerism among students and personnel. By engaging in initiatives that directly benefit the community, the institution reinforced its mission of developing socially responsible individuals who embody empathy, service, and concern for others.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the activity supported SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being by promoting access to life-saving blood resources; SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities through active community participation; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening collaboration between educational institutions and local government units in addressing community health needs.
