SNCFI Representatives Participate in THINK GLOBAL Forum to Advance Institutional Competitiveness

Reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and internationalization, the Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. (SNCFI) actively participated in THINK GLOBAL Forum – Session 1: Understanding World University Rankings and Institutional Competitiveness, held on July 27, 2026, at the Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) Library.

Representing SNCFI were Academic Director Dr. Jun Y. Badie and Quality Assurance Officer Ms. Juliet C. Arellano-Castañas, joined by Ms. Charmeah S. Dequiña, Secretary to the Academic Director, and Mr. Cedric C. Claud, Document Controller. Together, they engaged with higher education leaders, faculty members, and quality assurance practitioners in discussions on strengthening institutional competitiveness through internationally recognized ranking systems.

The forum explored the significance of world university rankings in driving continuous institutional improvement, highlighting key performance indicators related to academic quality, research productivity, innovation, governance, and global engagement. Participants also examined how strategic quality assurance initiatives and internationalization efforts contribute to enhancing an institution's global visibility and reputation.

For SNCFI, participation in the THINK GLOBAL Forum reflects its unwavering dedication to fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. The insights gained from the session will support the Institution's ongoing initiatives to strengthen academic programs, improve institutional processes, and pursue meaningful international collaborations that benefit both faculty and students.

As SNCFI continues to expand its global engagement, the active participation of its academic and quality assurance team underscores the institution's commitment to preparing globally competent graduates and positioning the College as a forward-looking higher education institution dedicated to quality and innovation.

Supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the participation of the SNCFI delegation strongly contributes to the advancement of SDG 4 (Quality Education) by strengthening institutional quality assurance, promoting excellence in higher education, and equipping academic leaders with global perspectives on university rankings and competitiveness. Moreover, the forum reinforces SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by fostering collaboration among higher education institutions, quality assurance professionals, and internationalization advocates, encouraging the exchange of best practices and the development of strategic partnerships that drive innovation, institutional growth, and globally responsive education.
