SNCFI Holds Joint Closing Ceremony and ROTC Leadership Turn-Over

Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. (SNCFI) conducted the Joint Closing Ceremony of Military Science 2 for School Year 2025–2026 on May 20, 2026, at the SNCFI campus in Brgy. San Vicente, Banga, South Cotabato, highlighted by the formal Turn-Over Rites of the Corps of Officers of the 778th NROTCU (Affiliated) SNCFI. The ceremony marked a significant transition of leadership within the ROTC unit as outgoing officers formally relinquished their responsibilities to the newly designated Corps of Officers, symbolizing continuity, stewardship, and commitment to service.

The activity served as a meaningful platform to recognize the dedication and contributions of the outgoing officers while formally entrusting leadership responsibilities to the incoming student leaders. Through the transition, the newly appointed officers were encouraged to uphold the values of patriotism, accountability, discipline, and service as they continue strengthening camaraderie and organizational excellence within the ROTC unit.

The ceremony also underscored the importance of leadership development and civic responsibility among student-cadets. As the incoming Corps of Officers formally assumed their respective roles, they were reminded of their responsibility to lead with integrity, cooperation, and dedication while serving as role models to fellow cadets. The event likewise reflected the institution’s commitment to fostering discipline, teamwork, and values-centered leadership among students through meaningful co-curricular engagements.

Beyond the formal turn-over rites, the activity became a moment of reflection and recognition for the sacrifices, dedication, and accomplishments of the outgoing officers whose leadership contributed to strengthening the ROTC program within the institution. The transition highlighted the continuing legacy of responsibility and service that guides the organization in carrying out its mission and vision.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the activity supported SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting leadership and character formation; SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions through values-centered leadership and civic responsibility; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening collaboration between educational institutions and national service-oriented programs in promoting leadership, civic engagement, and community responsibility.

Through initiatives such as the ROTC Leadership Turn-Over Ceremony, SNCFI continues to strengthen its commitment to leadership development, civic responsibility, and holistic education by empowering student-cadets to become disciplined, service-oriented, and socially responsible future leaders.
