SNCFI Outreach Places Dignity at the Center of Care for Bahay Pag-asa Youth
Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. continues to uphold its strong commitment to community service through a meaningful outreach activity in support of Bahay Pag-asa’s advocacy for children in conflict with the law (CICL).
This initiative was made possible through the collective efforts of various student organizations and offices within the institution. The GENDEV Society, under the Gender and Development (GAD) Office led by Marianne S. Bucay, MPsy, worked hand in hand with the Peer Counseling Club, guided by the Guidance Office led by Marlon Andag and Izra Kyla Castor. Also contributing to the success of the activity were the School Clinic, led by Heronie P. Reysoma, RN, and the NSTP Office, with the support of Coordinator Ms. Echardeen Reeka Mellindez, RCRIM, alongside NSTP Faculty Ms. Joan Quijance, LPT.
Spearheaded by GENDEV Society Mayor Kimberly Remblando (BSOA), the outreach provided essential hygiene kits, food packs, and medicines to the children. More than the distribution of goods, the activity reflected the institution’s dedication to empathy, social responsibility, and inclusive care.
Through this collaborative effort, Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. not only extended tangible support to the youth of Bahay Pag-asa but also reinforced its alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
