SNCFI Graduating Students Strengthen Career Readiness Through Pre-Employment Seminar and Mock Interview

Anchored on the theme, “From Capability to Credibility: Preparing Graduates for the World of Work,” Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. (SNCFI) successfully conducted a Pre-Employment Seminar and Mock Interview on May 28–29, 2026, at the HCCCI Lobby. The two-day activity aimed to equip graduating students with the competencies, confidence, and professional skills needed to successfully transition from academic life to the workforce.

The seminar featured informative discussions on employment readiness, including resume and application letter preparation, workplace professionalism, interview etiquette, communication skills, and career expectations across various industries. Through these sessions, participants gained practical knowledge and valuable insights intended to strengthen their preparedness for real-world employment opportunities.

One of the highlights of the activity was the Mock Interview Session, where students participated in simulated job interviews that allowed them to practice responding to common interview questions and demonstrate their communication and interpersonal skills. Facilitators and evaluators provided constructive feedback to help participants improve their confidence, professionalism, and overall interview performance, reinforcing the importance of credibility alongside capability in securing future employment.

Concluding on May 29, 2026, the activity reflected SNCFI’s commitment to preparing graduates for meaningful careers by strengthening their employability and workplace readiness. Furthermore, the initiative aligned with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting relevant and practical learning opportunities; SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, through workforce preparation and employability enhancement; and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, by empowering students with equal opportunities to develop career readiness and professional competence.

The successful conduct of the Pre-Employment Seminar and Mock Interview stands as a testament to SNCFI’s continuing efforts to produce competent, confident, and career-ready graduates prepared to meet the demands of the professional world.
