Strengthening its collaboration with government agencies and industry partners, Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. (SNCFI) conducted an Internship Exit Visit at the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Revenue Region No. 18 – Document Processing Division in Koronadal City, South Cotabato, on July 14, 2026.

The visit served as an opportunity to evaluate the internship experience of SNCFI student interns, gather valuable feedback from the host office, and reinforce the institution's commitment to providing meaningful educational experiences beyond the classroom. Through workplace immersion and experiential learning opportunities, SNCFI continues to equip students with relevant knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies that contribute to the realization of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).

Representing the Bureau of Internal Revenue was Lalaine Aniceta G. Garganian, Chief of the Document Processing Division, who welcomed the SNCFI delegation and shared valuable insights on the interns' performance and contributions throughout their internship. The exit visit also recognized the successful completion of the internships of Salama Abdulla, Lubaiya Bulilo, and Roselle Oledan, whose dedication and professionalism reflected the values and competencies nurtured by the institution. The discussion underscored the importance of integrity, accountability, and technical proficiency in preparing students for meaningful employment and lifelong career success, in support of Sustainable Development Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).

The SNCFI delegation was composed of Lyneth O. Baloyo, LPT, MBA, Program Head of the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA); Jerry F. Baguio, CPA, MBA, Program Head of the Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information Systems (BSAIS); and Marianne S. Bucay, MPsy, Student Internship Program and Placement (SIPP) Coordinator. Their visit reaffirmed the College's dedication to maintaining strong partnerships with government institutions and industry stakeholders, fostering collaborative efforts that enhance student development and create meaningful learning opportunities in line with Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

Through initiatives like this, SNCFI continues to bridge academic learning and professional practice, empowering students to become competent, ethical, and globally competitive professionals capable of contributing positively to their communities and the broader society.
