Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. (SNCFI) marked a meaningful milestone as the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) students hosted the institutionโ€™s first-ever Early Childhood Education and Inclusive Education Day on November 13, 2025, at Brgy. Reyes Gym, Banga, South Cotabato. Anchored on the theme โ€œPlay, Teach, Inspire: Empowering Future Educators through Creativity, Compassion, and Inclusivity โ€” The Niรฑos and Niรฑas Way,โ€ the event highlighted SNCFIโ€™s growing commitment to cultivating future educators who champion the principles quietly aligned with global aspirations for equitable, inclusive, and quality learning.

The morning session opened with the registration of participants and a prelude by Emcee Princess Faith Mondejar, followed by a warm welcome address from Dr. Jun Y. Badie, Academic Director. Gender and Development Coordinator Ms. Marianne Bucay introduced the speakers, setting the stage for discussions centered on child development, diversity, and meaningful classroom engagementโ€”areas that naturally reflect the broader push toward building learning environments where every child has the opportunity to grow.

School Directress of Bon Education Inc. Ms. Bonavie S. Ang served as the first speaker, sharing insights on early childhood teaching grounded in compassion and practical experience. An open forum followed, allowing students to engage actively. Mr. Ruzty M. Donaire, Special Needs and Cultural Education Coordinator, delivered the second talk, emphasizing the importance of inclusive approaches that support learners of all backgrounds and abilities. The session concluded with a synthesis by Ms. Gladys Castillon, and closing remarks by Ms. Richelle Rose R. Subillaga, BECED Program Coordinator, who highlighted the value of continuing the dayโ€™s mission beyond the event.

The afternoon session became more interactive, featuring activities that challenged students to apply their skills in real-world teaching scenarios. These included a storytelling competition, a lesson plan feud game, and a poster and slogan-making contestโ€”creative exercises that strengthened the participantsโ€™ communication, planning, and advocacy skills. Judges evaluated the outputs, recognizing the studentsโ€™ potential as educators who can help shape more nurturing and inclusive learning spaces. The day wrapped up with final announcements guided smoothly by Emcee Princess Faith Mondejar.

SNCFIโ€™s inaugural Early Childhood Education and Inclusive Education Day not only showcased the talent and enthusiasm o f its future educators but also subtly echoed the spirit of global development goalsโ€”particularly the pursuit of inclusive, equitable, and quality education. Through events like this, the institution continues to nurture educators who are compassionate, creative, and mindful of the diverse needs of every learner, contributing in their own steady way to a more supportive and sustainable future for children and communities.
