The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd) program successfully conducted an Outreach Program and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing on January 15, 2026, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m., as part of Day 2 of the Inclusive Education 2025 activities.
The outreach initiative was spearheaded by Richelle Rose Rivera-Subillaga, BECEd Program Coordinator, in partnership with the VOICE Advocate Club, led by Ruzty Donaire, Special Needs and Cultural Education Coordinator. The activity aimed to promote inclusive, child-friendly, and community-based educational practices among young learners.
Present during the activity were BECEd faculty members Marianne Bucay, Gladys Castillo, Ruzty Donaire, and Richelle Rose Rivera-Subillaga, together with BECEd officers and members of the VOICE Advocate Club. Also in attendance were Jeff Pastillero, Community Extension Coordinator, Francis Jay Tipon, Director of Student Affairs and Services, and Remar Barcibal, Research Coordinator, highlighting the institutionโs strong inter-office support for community engagement.
During the outreach program, BECEd officers facilitated interactive games and storytelling sessions designed to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for the pupils of Little Baguio Elementary School. These activities emphasized values of cooperation, creativity, and respect for diversity, ensuring positive and meaningful learning experiences for all children.
The program concluded with the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between SNCFI, represented by Richelle Rose Rivera-Subillaga and Ruzty Donaire, and Little Baguio Elementary School, represented by Mr. Chen Daryl C. Berdos, School Head, together with Maโam Evelyn H. Caluya. The agreement signifies the beginning of a sustained partnership focused on advancing inclusive education, community extension initiatives, and collaborative programs for learners and educators alike.
This milestone activity reflects the BECEd programโs commitment to fostering inclusive, responsive, and community-oriented education, while strengthening partnerships that contribute to the holistic development of children and the wider community.
