Students of Lapuz National High School received a significant boost in shaping their future when two educational leaders from Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. (SNCFI) served as guest speakers during the schoolโs inaugural Career Guidance Advocacy Program. This program was designed specifically for students in grades 10 and 12.
Dr. Jun Yang Badie, LPT, Academic Director of SNCFI, and Ms. Juliet Arellano-Castaรฑas, Quality Assurance Officer, delivered consecutive motivational speeches that supported not only the studentsโ academic progress but also the schoolโs dedication to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Their presentations emphasized self-discovery, values-based decision-making, and preparing for an evolving workforce. They reinforced SDG 4: Quality Education, particularly its objective of equipping young individuals with relevant skills for employment and lifelong learning. Additionally, they underscored the significance of excellence, continuous improvement, and developing competencies that align with global standards, which are consistent with SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, which emphasizes empowering youth for productive and sustainable career paths.
The collaboration between Lapuz National High School and SNCFI also aligns with SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, demonstrating how robust institutional partnerships can enhance career readiness for these learners.
School officials commended the programโs success, describing it as a transformative step in guiding students toward informed career choices and future-proof opportunities.
