Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. (SNCFI) took part in the Higher Education Summit 2026, held from March 10โ€“12, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Clark carrying the theme โ€œAchieving Sustainable Futures: Transforming Human Education for Human Capital, Innovation, and Global Responsibility,โ€ the summit gathered leaders and stakeholders from higher education institutions across the country to discuss transformative strategies for sustainable and innovative education.



Representing SNCFI in the summit was Robert-Glenn A. Miguel, LPT, MAEd-EM, who actively participated in the discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions focusing on the future of higher education. The event served as a venue for educators, academic leaders, and policymakers to exchange insights on strengthening human capital development, enhancing innovation in academic institutions, and cultivating global responsibility among learners.


Throughout the summit, participants engaged in plenary sessions, panel discussions, and collaborative dialogues that explored emerging trends in education, including digital transformation, interdisciplinary learning, and institutional partnerships that contribute to national and global development.



The summit also emphasized the crucial role of higher education institutions in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, which promotes inclusive and equitable education and lifelong learning opportunities. In addition, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering innovation and research aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, as well as strengthening collaboration among institutions through Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.


By participating in the Higher Education Summit 2026, SNCFI reaffirms its commitment to strengthening academic excellence and aligning its educational initiatives with global standards and sustainable development priorities. The insights gained from the summit are expected to contribute to the institutionโ€™s ongoing efforts to develop innovative programs, empower learners, and prepare students to become responsible global citizens in an increasingly interconnected world.
