Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. (SNCFI) proudly made its mark at the Bandung Annual International Conference (BAIC) 2025, hosted by Universitas Islam Bandung, Indonesia, from September 10โ€“12, where it served as co-host of the Social and Humanities Research Symposium (SoRes). This international platform brought together scholars, educators, and professionals to engage in meaningful dialogue and knowledge exchange, with SNCFI at the forefront of representing its glocal research excellence.

The participation of SNCFI in BAIC 2025 underscores its commitment to advancing scholarship that addresses both local realities and global imperatives. Through a diverse range of studies spanning education, social sciences, business, and professional practice, the institution demonstrated its active role in shaping solutions to contemporary challenges, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Among the notable contributions was Juliet C. Arellano-Castaรฑas, LPT, MAEd, who presented her study โ€œThe Strategic Competence of the BSED-English Studentsโ€, examining the language proficiency and applied competencies of pre-service English teachers, thereby contributing to SDG 4: Quality Education. Meanwhile, Fritzy C. Colmo, Marvin C. Serrato, Jenny Rose F. Sotto, and Mark Anthony M. Felongco, LPT, explored โ€œDifferentiated Instructions in Teaching Fractions to Grade 2 Learners: Basis for Professional Interventionsโ€, offering timely insights into innovative numeracy strategies that reinforce equitable and inclusive education, also advancing SDG 4.

Anamae F. Belarmino, Wena Mae Lavide, and Christine Joy L. Padre-I contributed the study โ€œKnowledge and Skills of Accounting Professionals in Selected Accounting Information Systemsโ€, emphasizing the significance of technological competence in accounting, directly supporting SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. Equally compelling was the presentation of Rey Patric O. Jugos, RCrim, MSCJ, titled โ€œJuvenile Delinquency from the Lens of Social Workers: A Descriptive Inquiryโ€, which highlighted the realities, interventions, and challenges faced by social workers in addressing youth delinquency, resonating strongly with SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.

Finally, Remar B. Barcibal, LPT, MAEd, shared his phenomenological analysis โ€œThe Narratives of Filipino Seafarers on Navigating the Multilingual Dynamics in the Maritime Industryโ€. His research provided vital insights into the lived experiences of Filipino seafarers navigating a globalized and linguistically diverse workforce, aligning with SDG 8 and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.

Collectively, these research endeavors reflect SNCFIโ€™s holistic vision of transformative education and social responsibility. By aligning its scholarly contributions with the SDGs, the institution not only strengthens its academic programs but also actively participates in shaping sustainable futures for communities both in the Philippines and beyond.

SNCFIโ€™s strong representation at BAIC 2025 marks a milestone in its journey toward becoming a recognized leader in research and innovation. It stands as a testament to the institutionโ€™s mission of cultivating educators, professionals, and leaders whose research-driven insights can inform policies, transform lives, and inspire international collaboration.
