BANGA, South Cotabato โ The 84th Foundation Anniversary of Barangay San Vicente unfolded as a vivid showcase of local culture and community spirit, with Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. (SNCFI) playing a central role in the weekโs celebrations.
The college, long recognized for its academic and civic presence in the municipality, extended its reach beyond the classroom to the heart of the barangay festivities. At โA Night of Talents,โ SNCFI students and personnel, alongside performers from San Vicente National High School, took to the stage in an evening of music, poetry, dance, and drills. Their performances drew applause not only for their artistry but also for their embodiment of the collegeโs commitment to nurturing confidence, creativity, and cultural pride among young people.
Adding a note of prestige to the festivities, SNCFI Academic Director Dr. Jun Y. Badie, LPT, was invited to serve as one of the judges for the Mutya ng San Vicente 2025 pageant. His presence lent institutional gravitas to an event that remains a highlight of the barangayโs annual celebration, blending tradition with the recognition of beauty, talent, and character.
Behind the scenes, SNCFIโs Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) faculty and students, led by their program head, Ms. Sheryl Mae B. Roda, LPT, assumed the responsibility of official tabulators. Their work ensured the integrity of the pageantโs resultsโquiet but indispensable proof of the collegeโs technical acumen and steady service to the community.
