Reinforcing its strong commitment to academic leadership and campus journalism, Santo Nino College Foundation, Inc. (SNCFI) proudly announces that its Academic Director, Dr. Jun Y. Badie, LPT, served as one of the official judges during the RSPC 2026 (Regional Schools Press Conference).
Dr. Badie was assigned to evaluate the Elementary and Secondary Individual Writing Events, particularly in the categories of Editorial, Feature, and Column Writing. In this capacity, he assessed the participantsโ analytical depth, journalistic ethics, organization of ideas, and mastery of language. His role ensured a fair, transparent, and standards-based evaluation process, upholding the integrity of the competition while encouraging young campus journalists to strive for excellence.
This engagement aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting literacy, critical thinking, and responsible journalism among learners. It also advances SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, as SNCFI collaborates with educational institutions and organizers in strengthening academic and journalistic initiatives at the regional level.
Through Dr. Badieโs active involvement in RSPC 2026, SNCFI continues to demonstrate its dedication to nurturing future writers, leaders, and media practitionersโempowering the youth to use their voices responsibly and meaningfully in society.
